taken to the recycling center and a recycling truck. they say there are no obvious signs of trauma. >> meanwhile, oakland police conducted several raids on friday in an effort to crack down on the city's crime wave. oakland has suffered an escalating problem with violence including the homicide that you see here. a woman in a man were shot is that went through a drive-through restaurant. police launched operation cease-fire is to try to stem the violence. in the raid, police say, that they detained six people and confiscated guns and other evidence. >> we have kept our promise and we want people to know that when they commit crimes we will do whatever is and our authority to come

hospital but later died. then around three p-m. another body was found. he had also been shot. police found the body at canon ave and wellington st an hour later, a shooting was reported at 34th near west st.. no victims were found, but later a man was admitted to a nearby hospital where he died. and just after eight. police found a man with fatal gunshot wounds on street. there are no suspects in any of the four incidents. and no word on whether there is any possible connection >> mmeanwhile, oakland police conducted several raids friday in an effort to crack down on the city's crime wave. oakland has suffered an escalating problem with violence. including the homicide you see here.

the flu is now officially an epidemic. california is one of only a few states that has not felt the full force of the flu season. nationwide, the flu was the cause of one out of 14 deaths last week, putting it in the epidemic category according to the centers for disease contro. kron 4's catherine heenan has more.
